Created by Berklee College of Music graduate and songwriter Miray Benli, The Musical Playroom blends rhythm, movement, storytelling, piano exploration, emotional expression, and collaborative songwriting.

The Musical Playroom is a warm, creative space where children are encouraged to imagine, move, listen, sing, share ideas, and experience music as something joyful and collaborative.

Why it’s unique
Children help shape the songs.
Many songs begin during class with children’s lyric ideas, imagery, feelings, and stories. Miray then turns those class moments into finished songs that children can hear again at home.
The goal is not performance or perfection. It is helping children feel heard, expressive, creative, and connected through music.

About Miray
Created by songwriter and educator Miray Benli.
Miray Benli is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a degree in songwriting and experience teaching piano and creative songwriting to children. She created The Musical Playroom as a space where young children can explore music in a more imaginative, collaborative, and emotionally connected way.
Inspired by her daughter and the children she works with, Miray’s classes celebrate each child’s ideas while supporting early musical development, confidence, creativity, and connection.
